Failures

Thomas Edison’s teachers said he was “too stupid to learn anything.” He was fired from his first two jobs.

quote by Edison:

“I speak without exaggeration when I say that I have constructed three thousand different theories in connection with the electric light, each one of them reasonable and apparently to be true. Yet only in two cases did my experiments prove the truth of my theory.”

The famous story goes, Edison failed to refine the light bulb so many times it took him 1000 attempts. However rather than accepting failure 1000 times he is quoted as answering questions on his failures as rather: ‘I have not failed. The light bulb was an invention with 1000 steps.”’.

He didn’t fail. He just kept working on his ideas until he found the solution he was looking for.

Failure is only when you give up, you quit.
