Human and computers

Computers are more powerful than humans when it comes to executing simple step-by-step instructions. Humans are more powerful than computers at tasks that are not easily broken into simple steps.

According to “Dancing With Robots: Human Skills for Computerized Work,” computers’ strengths lie in speed and accuracy, while humans’ strengths are all about flexibility. There are types of work that humans do really well but computers cannot:

1) Unstructured problem-solving: solving for problems in which the rules do not currently exist.

2) Acquiring and processing new information, deciding what is relevant in a flood of undefined phenomena.

There is a plethora  of useless information on the market, that market people throw at us to make us confused. Then there are so much noise from the media. The market is war.

The market is chaos organized. There are patterns out there that cant be recognize easily by the novice or computer.

Computer beats human in hft. It gets order flow information and sees the imbalance of the market at a very short interval. If your trade last a few seconds, you will loose.

Market makers, brokers see your stops. If there is a huge amounts of stops at certain level, they’ll flush it and the market quickly reverse (flash crash).

The market is always manipulated (investors, the media). Why would they go the net, tv and recommend buy? They already bought. Why would they say sell? Somebody is shorting it.

To avoid these, trade a longer period (weaks or months).
